KMRS moter reversing module is a special solid state relay which is only used for reversing control by single phase motor. It integrates logic interlock circuit and turn-on delay circuit, to avoid destruction from power short circuit caused by misoperation from input terminal. As long as the switching time meet the specification, it can protect the power supply system, motor and module itself. In the meantime, the module integrates RC snubber to improve its reliability. 

The module offer (48 ~ 440) VAC output voltage, with output current at 10A, 15A, 25A and 40A. It include two different color LEDs indicate the running status conveniently.

1. Please check the load surge current,make sure do not exceed the normial value. 

2. The product datasheet shows the non-repetitive peak value of the surge current. Normally, use 1/2 of the non-repetitive peak surge current as the standard value. If the actual surge current may exceed the standard value, make sure connect a semiconductor fuse to the module output port in series. And in order to prevent the module breakdown, the I2t value of semiconductor fuse should be smaller than the max. I2t value of the product.

3. Because the motor may generate high shock voltage, so should make sure that the module can withstand this transient voltage.

4. The product datasheet shows the non-repetitive peak value of the transient voltage. In pracitice, if the transient voltage may exceed the nominal value, a varistor should be mounted to the load terminals in parallel to prevent the module breakdown. The recommended voltage range of varistor is (750~1000)V.

5. The min. switching  time for motor reversing offered by user must meet the datasheet requirement.

6. Please pay more attention to actual load current and ambient temperature for module selection. When the module is used for full load operation, we'd better install an adequate heatsink or take other effective cooling measures. When the ambient temperature is high, please refer to the curve of Max.Load Current vs Ambient Temperature for derating.

7. Tighten the module terminal screws proberly. If the screws are loose, the module will be damaged by heat generated from connections. Also excessive mounting torque may damage module internal components. Recommended screw mounting torque as follow: output screw mounting torque range is (0.98 ~ 1.37)N.m,input screw mounting torque range is (0.58 ~ 0.98)N.m.

8. It's recommended to use the matched heatsink by Jinxingrong. If the user needs to use home-made heatsink, it's needed to ensure that the module base temperature does not exceed 85.

9. Please do not use the module beyond the descriptions in the datasheet. If it is a must to use it beyond descriptions, please contact Jinxinrong for more technical support.
